Ragdoll Rescue Northwest
Volunteer Lottie Zorn has been volunteering with Ragdoll Rescue Northwest since 2007. She provides foster care to elderly and special-needs Ragdoll cats. She volunteers under the brilliant direction and tutelage of Sharla Hill, the founder and director of Ragdoll Rescue Northwest. Lottie also delights in providing transport services and foster home interviews for sister organizations in the animal rescue world, and has proven that multiple bouncy rescue hounds can learn to rest comfortably in a tiny Prius! By night, Lottie spends her time scrubbing litter boxes, brushing furry coats, and loving up the cats that are considered unlovable by others. By day, Lottie is a CPA specializing in the audits of nonprofit organizations and has dedicated her life to nonprofit missions, volunteerism, and leaving the world a better place than when she found it. Lottie lives in Portland, Oregon with her partner Mary and two amazing teenagers.

ADOPT OR SPONSOR
DHARMA
Dharma is a gorgeous, silly, love-starved Ragdoll girl who has issues with extreme shyness towards humans and aggression towards other cats. Dharma came to the rescue when her guardian developed Alzheimers and could no longer care for a cat. Dharma is 15 years old and, due to her age and behavioral unpredictability, has not found a new home. As a result, she has become one of the rescue.s .sanctuary. cats who is likely to live out the rest of her natural life in foster care. In foster care, Dharma has learned to trust people again and even enjoys a good snuggle every evening, but is still learning to tolerate her fellow foster cats. Dharma comes from a Ragdoll line that was infused with Himalayan, so her cottony coat has to be sheared into a lovely lion cut several times each year, and amazingly, Dharma seems to really enjoy her special hairstyle! She also likes to hunt for toy mice and to wrestle with furry blankets. Dharma would appreciate a monthly or quarterly sponsor who can help with the cost of her care, grooming, and dental work. To sponsor Dharma, please go to our website.
